Affordable Tufted Ottomans

Have you seen the Botanic Blush Collection at Target?
I am super excited about it.
I am particularly obsessed with these tufted ottomans.
This cream and gold tufted bench is on the top of my must-have list.
Can you believe it is only $99.00?
I wouldn’t mind this pink and gold tufted ottoman for $69.00

I also can’t get enough of this Honeycomb Accent Table for $80.00!

Or this Honeycomb Gold Foil Lamp for $55.00.
Well done Target, I can’t wait to see it all in person!

A Fresh Start to 2014

This year has already started off differently.
I typically leave my Christmas tree up until the beginning of January but when we returned from our Christmas in Rexburg, I couldn’t resist the urge to clean house.
I packed up all our Christmas decor and haven’t looked back.
Although January can be a long and hard month, I also find it so exciting.
I love setting goals, making New Years resolutions, and dreaming big.

Of course I love starting fresh with my interiors too.
January is my favorite month to organize, donate unnecessary items , and just simplify.
My house already feels so much better without the extra Christmas decor.
This month is also big for my design business.
I am obviously not the only one who gets the itch to decorate at the beginning of a New Year.
Speaking of design services, I have one spot left in January and typically book up quickly around this time of year. If you are interested in my services, email me.
Happy New Year!

The Best of 2013!

With 2013 coming to an end, I can’t help but share a quick recap of my favorite posts from 2013.
January started off right with the introduction of  Baby Theo!

We took a peek into Theo’s mini room reveal.
I shared some thrifty spring updates to my living room.
A master bedroom design that I loved working on.
It turned out better than I imagined.
Oh and I can’t forget about this darling nursery reveal.
This has to be one of my all-time favorite designs to date.
Zacks graduation from medical school is definitely one of the major highlights from 2013!
And I still adore my mom’s DIY vintage trailer makeover.
I loved planning and setting up our DIY back to school lunch.
And we can’t forget about my 30 minute gallery wall!
A quick DIY painted pot project added a little life to my coffee table.
My $20.00 desk chair makeover still gets me excited!
Of course I can’t forget my DIY dotted art.
I had such a blast creating affordable design boards.
I loved working on this $600.00 nursery design.
I shared a few updates from my master bedroom.
It was a quick and fun project for under $150.00!
I delivered all the care packages from Project Stay Happy!
The total cost for everything displayed was under $40.00!
My Family Circle feature was just the cherry on top of a great year!
I am so excited to see what 2014 will bring.
Also, a big thanks to everyone that stuck with me through 2013. With a new baby, moving states, adjusting to my husbands long hours, and working hard at running my design business, the blog definitely took a hit. You guys really are the best!

Christmas Recap!

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is already over!
We headed to southeast Idaho to spend the holidays with my husbands family.
My in-laws recently purchased a home that was built in the 1950’s and remained untouched. They have been working hard at updating the home but staying true to it’s mid-century style.
I totally love it.

I was hoping to snap a few more pictures of the inside while I was there but ran out of time.
It’s on my to-do list for our next visit.
We ate a ton of food, played plenty of games, lots of relaxing, and Emory even had a chance to ride in her Grandpa’s tractor. Definitely a highlight for her.
Now we are gearing up to celebrate Theo’s 1st birthday.
He can’t really be one can he?
Also, I am honored to be a part of Rambling Renovators 2013 great reads series.
Head on over here to see my top post and my favorite post from 2013!
