A Fresh Start to 2014

This year has already started off differently.
I typically leave my Christmas tree up until the beginning of January but when we returned from our Christmas in Rexburg, I couldn’t resist the urge to clean house.
I packed up all our Christmas decor and haven’t looked back.
Although January can be a long and hard month, I also find it so exciting.
I love setting goals, making New Years resolutions, and dreaming big.

Of course I love starting fresh with my interiors too.
January is my favorite month to organize, donate unnecessary items , and just simplify.
My house already feels so much better without the extra Christmas decor.
This month is also big for my design business.
I am obviously not the only one who gets the itch to decorate at the beginning of a New Year.
Speaking of design services, I have one spot left in January and typically book up quickly around this time of year. If you are interested in my services, email me.
Happy New Year!

I’m with you, I cleaned everything just a few days after Christmas. It felt so good to clean up, organize, and rid myself of the unnecessary. Happy New Year!! 🙂

I was desperate to put my christmas tree and decorations down. Normally we wait til mid Jan but this time it was on Boxing Day! It felt weird but also much fresher. December was a month of purging for me… I just wanted to simplify and throw out so much stuff! We ended up going to the council tip, we had so much junk!

I couldn’t agree more! Personally I try to do house clean outs 3 times a year. New Year, Spring, and Fall. Helps me to feel refreshed.

    Happy New Year!
