Re-thinking Children’s Rugs!

Sometimes you need to look in unexpected places to find affordable pieces!
When searching for rugs, I always check all sections including children’s decor.

Pottery Barn Kids has some really great rug options right now.
Many of thier 8’x10′ rugs sell for $499.00 or less, which isn’t too bad either.

I am loving this triangle rug in navy, such a great pattern! I think it would be great in a family room.
It also comes in light blue and grey.

How cute is this Ibiza Rug? Great pattern and scale! You can find it is navy and grey too.

  

I love this jute chenille rug! So versatile and would add the perfect amount of texture.

This Jute Squares Rug is simple but still adds a fun little pattern. I love it.

Tonic Living has some killer fabrics right now.
I spend a good amount of time sourcing fabrics for clients and Tonic Living never fails me.

Coral + Navy Affordable Finds!

Coral, navy, and gold has to be one of my favorite color schemes. It works great in a living room, master bedroom, little girls room…everywhere really!
Target has some awesome coral, navy, and gold pieces right now and for a steal too!
You may remember this e-design I finished a few months ago with the same color scheme.
I still can’t get enough!

Happy 6th Birthday Emory!

I know every Mom says it, but I just can’t believe how quickly Emory is growing up. 
Today she turns 6 and I feel so lucky to be her mom.

She is funny, caring, sensitive, independent, competitive, and so full of spunk. She collects quarters to donate to a fundraiser at school and writes me daily love notes. She loves to snuggle on my knee, text her cousins, kiss her brother, and can’t get enough of her Dad.
She makes my heart swell daily and is such a bright light in my life. 
Now if only I could convince her to never move away and live with me forever!
