Rug Love (on sale too!)

Serena and Lily is one of my favorite places to find great rugs.
Yes, they are a little more expensive than trusty Rugs USA, but the patterns and colors are spot on.

Today is the last day to get 20% off their rugs and window treatments and I so badly want to pull the trigger on a few of my favorite rugs!

With the discount, the prices are not too bad either.
Jersey Stripe Rug (8×10) $895.00 $716.00
Zig Cotton Dhurrie (8×10): $895.00 $716.00
Cobalt Strata Rug (8×10): $995.00 $796.00
Feather Rug (8×10): $795.00 $636.00
Playa Stripe Dhurrie (8×10): $895.00 $716.00
Azul Hand Painted Rug (8×10): $995.00 $796.00

I love the versatility of these rugs. They work great in so many spaces. You may remember this nursery design where I used the Zig Cotton Rug?
I am also a huge fan of the French Tassel Window Panels (also on sale!). The tassel trim comes in lots of great colors and I can’t get enough of them!
Happy Monday!

Thrifty Tuesday: Inspiring Home Transformation

Today I have such a treat for you.
I came across Studio 34 a few weeks ago when Tracey’s home was featured on West Elm’s blog.
Her home transformation is really something else.
Tracey Tilley is a photographer and blogger from Detroit, MI. She shoots with a wide range of cameras both old and new and has a serious obsession with instant film. She also writes a blog about photography, decorating her home, traveling, and her playboy lifestyle.
I will let the pictures do the talking, but I must admit this is one of the most inspiring transformations i’ve seen to date. Her vision is incredible.

Are you impressed or what? Is that really the same house?
Tracey has some serious talent.
You can find Tracey at Studio 34, follow her on Instagram, or like her on Facebook. You better believe I’ll be doing all 3.
Thanks so much for sharing Tracey
I suddenly feel the need to paint something…

Master Bedroom & Bathroom E-Design!

I have been working on some really fun e-design projects lately. This bedroom/bathroom combo was one of my recent favorites.
Color always seems to find its way into my home, but if I was going to go with a more monochromatic color scheme, this would be it.
I love the mixture of textures, subtle patterns, and neutral colors.
The Zhu Mirror has to be one of my favorite affordable finds.
It is currently on sale for $103.00! A total steal in my opinion.
I also can’t get enough of this new Chevron Deco Table Lamp from West Elm. It isn’t exactly inexpensive, but it sure is pretty.
I went with Benjamin Moore Simply White for the walls.
You really can’t go wrong with white walls, especially in a neutral space.
We also tackled the Master Bathroom. Again I kept things classic, clean, and neutral.
I selected brass fixtures and hardware, subway tile with gray grout, marble mosaic tile, and a craftsman black vanity.
I am pretty much obsessing over these lucite brass pulls. Can we say delicous?
I also have such a soft spot for floor to ceiling subway tile. I just adore it.

I love using round mirrors in bathrooms, I think it is unexpected and unique. This brass one is a favorite of mine.
I really hope I get to see some progress pictures from this project, I just loved working on it.
