I am on the hunt for the perfect wallpaper for a nursery design i am working on.

i think this car wallpaper is a little boys dream come true.

my daughter would LOVE this animal themed wallpaper.

i never thought robots could look so chic.

i think these vintage balloons are my favorite.

if i had a playroom, these would line the walls!

remember this online nursery design i completed in october?
my client has been busy completing the room.
what was a guest bedroom is slowly being transformed into a nursery!

they have painted the room, applied the wall decals, hung the mobile, placed the curtains, set up the crib, and purchased the rocker, bedding, and throw pillows!
here is a sneak peek of the nursery.
i love the way it is coming together.

i am also loving this bird mobile.

they have been working hard at re-finishing this dresser.
I found it on their local classifieds and recommended that they paint it benjamin moore, my valentine.
it turned out perfect and is almost an identical replica of the original inspiration picture!

they are still in the process of re-framing their needlepoint art, hanging their pictures, and waiting on a couple items to arrive!
I can’t wait to see the room complete.

sarah has an incredible eye for interior design and i always seem to love everything she posts.

Thanks so much Danielle for inviting me to your gorgeous blog to share my favorite textile. I’ll be honest, I was stumped.. I don’t have that many ( other than white + beige ) textiles in my home! Then my eye caught my drapes. They were my one big splurge when we built this house

They are silk dupioni drapes from Pottery Barn, and I have never in my life spent that much on drapes before, although I know there are many who do!! They are in my living room and dining room, and they really set the tone for our space. I adore the nubby silk fabric, the muted tone, and paired with inexpensive bamboo roller blinds from home depot, I love them 🙂

does anyone else just want to wrap themselves up in her drapes? these drapes have the perfect amount of sophistication, texture, and simplicity!

what’s emory wearing wednesday

emory is turning into quite the model.
i am continually amazed by the poses she comes up with on her own!
even my husband had a hard time believing that i did not pose her, i guess she just likes the camera!
this week she is wearing the perfect outfit to match her sassiness.
a leopard cardigan from joe fresh style ($12.00), pink long sleeve from joe fresh style ($10.00), skinny jeans from gap $(24.00), gold ballet flats from joe fresh style ($12.00), and a pink rosette from forever 21 ($2.00)!




I wish joe fresh style would come to the united states.
