What’s Emory Wearing Wednesday?

Emory is back and as sassy as ever!
Her shirt and shorts are from Target and shrug and gold flats are from Joe Fresh Style.
The glasses are mine, she added that accessory herself 🙂
I love pairing blue and green together, especially with her olive complexion.
This girl is too much, she sure knows how to work the camera!
Kissy face…

Contemplating life? So innocent? Overwhelmed?

She definitely does not lack confidence.

And knows how to work those puppy dog eyes.

Are you guys thinking the same thing I am?
Toddlers & Tiaras just might be her calling.
I could only imagine her runway walk…

Thrifty Tuesday: A Couple of My Favorite Finds

I am long due for a DIY post.
But I have a hard time focusing on DIY projects once spring hits.
I still have a couple projects floating around in my head, stay tuned 🙂
In the meantime, I thought I would share some of my latest thrifty finds.
First off, this incredible indoor/outdoor rug from CB2.
It is 5 x 8 and only cost $80.00.
Wouldn’t this rug be the perfect inspiration piece for a rockin patio design?
I love the color scheme and ethnic vibe.

I am really impressed with World Market’s pieces lately.
This $169.00 side table is so unique and charming.
I love its refined industrial look.

This $69.99 ceramic table lamp is also from World Market.
I have a soft spot for ceramic lamps and I adore this green color.
And lastly, this mirror is from Wistera and is currently on sale for $115.00, marked down from $329.00!
You can never go wrong with an ornate black mirror.
Especially for such a great price!
Happy Shopping 🙂

Silk Flowers?

Now that the flowers are starting to bloom in Utah, I have the flower itch.
I wish I had a backyard full of tulips, hydrangeas, and peonies.
If I did, I would have fresh flowers in each room.
I think they add the perfect finishing touch to every room.
With flowers, you can introduce an unexpected color to a room and it works.

I just love the how they add a feminine flair to a space.

Although I would LOVE to have fresh flowers in my home all year round, it just isn’t realistic.
My mom has been known to use silk flowers in small doses, I personally like it.
What about you?
Would you consider using silk flowers?
