antique trunk

i love mixing antiques with new pieces.
one of my favorite ways to create this look is by using an antique trunk as a coffee table.
don’t you think it adds so much personality to a room?

all these beautiful antique trunks are under $100.00

$100.00 seems like a small investment for such a large statement.
also, if you want me to check your local craigslist for a keeper just leave a comment.

calming blue

there is something indescribably wonderful about a simple space.

isn’t it amazing how calming blue is?

although i love color and contrast, i am also drawn to simple spaces.
it just feels so homey.

black & white

while browsing through lonny magazine this morning i couldn’t help but notice a theme.
black and white interiors, especially in the bathroom.
i have always been a fan of crisp white bathrooms, they scream fresh and clean.
these black & white bathrooms are making me re-think my bathroom style.

black & white is also making it’s way through the rest of the house.
check out these awesome living rooms and entry.
