DIY Sharpie Wallpaper

Drawing on your walls with sharpies is nothing new, but I am still so intrigued by it.

I try to steer away from DIY projects that end up looking crafty, but I have spent lots of time researching this sharpie wallpaper thing, and I am impressed.

I’ve done my best to round-up my favorite DIY sharpie wallpaper projects, and if you are not inspired after seeing these…well then I can’t win.

I am absolutely in love with Classy Clutters sharpie wall. It doesn’t just look legit, it is also so pretty.

I love how they styled this space, mixing modern geometric patterns with traditional pieces.

We can’t talk about sharpie walls without mentions Mandy from Vintage Revivals. Have you seen her most recent office reveal featured in People?!

I love everything about this space, but particularly her sharpie wall.

This wasn’t the first sharpie wallpaper for Mandy. Last year she redesigned her living room and rocked one.

Who knew a gold sharpie could be so useful?

And affordable too right?

I absolutely love this unexpected sharpie wall. The irregular pattern and is just so good.

A Beautiful Mess created this horse wallpaper using a white pen!

What a fun way to address an odd shaped wall!

They also created a hand written wall with a sharpie!

Amazing right? Now if that doesn’t give you a hand cramp I am not sure what will!

She also stenciled the back of her bookcase/desk with a sharpie. That girl, she can do no wrong!

This sweet little nursery by Ashe + Leandro is NOT a sharpie wall but one of my favorite wallpapers by Cavern.

Guess what I am thinking people? This could so be sharpied right?

My Top 4 Ways To Style Above a Bed!

There are lots of different ways to style the wall above master bed, but I tend to stick with 4.These are not rocket science, but I thought I would share them with you today!1. Set of Prints

I find that either 2 large frames or 3 small frames work best.

It is simple, classic, and refined.

2. Large Piece of Art

Whether the art stands alone or in a gallery wall, I love the bold look a large piece of art creates.

I think abstract art adds a little color and playfulness to a room.

3. Accent Wall With Nothing

Sometimes less is more. When there is an accent treatment on the bed wall, I like to leave above the bed bare. I think it is simple and elegant.

4. Mirror

A mirror seems to be my go-to.

It adds a little sparkle and makes the room look larger.

Round seems to be my shape of choice, I love how it naturally creates a focal point.

Fun New Nursery Fabrics!

Spoonflower is one of my favorite places to search for fabrics to use in my designs.

Lately I have found a few new fabrics that would be perfect in a little girls room or nursery.

I really love this floral fabric. The pattern and colors are so good!

It comes in 3 colorways and I adore them all.

This Mum fabric is fresh and modern.

I would love to see it as drapery! It comes in 5 colorways.

You can never go wrong with stripes in kids spaces. This colorful thin striped fabric comes in 30 colorways and is perfect as crib skirts or sheets.

I am excited to use a few of these in designs, especially the florals!
