Fall

Fall is in full force here in Calgary.
My mom always has the perfect decorations for each season.
You can see a full tour of my mom’s house here.
I love the simple cranberry wreaths.

And pumpkins are a must.
I can’t wait to drill some holes in these beauties, just like Chassity did.

I also had a chance to capture some cute moments with my nieces.
I am no photographer but I love to play around with it.

She is too cute for words.
And doesn’t that smile make you melt?

I am obsessed.

To Canada I Go!

On Sunday my sweet little niece Reese Ella was born.
I am heading to Calgary this morning to meet her!
I can’t wait.
I am also helping my sister put the finishing touches on her nursery.
I’ll be back on Monday with more pictures of this little gem and hopefully some of her nursery as well.
Happy Weekend 🙂

Where do you find inspiration?

Last week while Emory was at preschool (l.o.v.e preschool!) I headed to the mall.
As soon as I walked into Gap, I noticed this gallery wall…
I thought it was such a great example of a unique gallery wall.
I would love to do something like this in a stairwell.
I always check out the decor in retail stores, it usually is a great place to get inspiration.
Do you ever find inspiration at the mall?

Thrifty Tuesday: Moroccan Stencil

I was thrilled when I saw that Kristen from KFD Designs is selling her Moroccan stencil.

If I had more than 2 bedrooms, I would definitely be adding this stencil to the wall.

What a simple and inexpensive way to add some flair to your space.

And if you didn’t want to stencil the wall, you could always try a rug!
Christi from Charm Home Design stenciled this rug earlier this year.

Are you feeling the moroccan stencil vibe?
