i’ll take it

do you ever browse real estate online?
this seems to be one of my many habits.
i currently have a crush on this beauty.

$2,490,000
slightly out of my student budget.
one can always dream.

just stencil it.

this is one of the best diy projects i have ever seen.
what an adorable rug for such a fantastic price.

natalie took a simple ikea rug and transformed it into a piece of art.
all that was required:
*ikea rug
*1 piece of card stock to make stencil
*washable white fabric paint
*stippling brush

you can get the rug for $29.99 at ikea.

it also comes in white, grey, and red.
i can think of SO many places i could put this rug.
i just love it.

lonny review

i am loving the new issue of lonny magazine.
mostly because the spaces are not over decorated and are rooms that could actually be lived in.
i can’t get enough of the portraits above the beds and the box pleated drapery.

imperial trellis fabric plus chinoiserie porcelain stools, perfect.

the ebony floors, gallery wall, and porthole window make such a stunning hallway.

this living room looks oh-so-liveable.
the simple red detail on the drapery, built in bookshelves, painted beams on the ceiling, and simple white upholstery complete this inviting space.

i love the idea of having one piece of furniture serve two purposes.
nightstand & desk, aesthetically pleasing and functional!

i spy with my little eye 6 patterns all woking perfectly together.

what a lovely magazine, it always manages to inspire and motivate me!
