I have been obsessing over finding an oversized piece of art for my house.

When I saw the DIY abstract art tutorial on 

It got me thinking…

Maybe I could do that?

My art skills have always lacked a little.

I try hard, but don’t always get the result I hope for.

Now I just need to decide on a style.

I have had this picture saved in my inspiration folder for a while.

I just can’t get this piece of art out of my head.

It is colorful, modern, and crisp. Love it.

I wonder if could I DIY that one?

Last week I found this DIY paint chip tutorial on Two Girls Being Crafty.

I know I could do that one!

If you watched my television segment, you saw this adorable Ikea LACK side table with the Greek Key O’verlays.

Once the segment was over, I couldn’t wait to find a new home for the side table.

I have been searching for a new coffee table forever, it looks like the search is over!

Since I only have one, I still need to purchase a second one.

I plan on placing them side by side.

Since the LACK table is only $7.99 and the O’verlays are $44.95, that makes a set of two for just over $100.00.

What a great deal for such a unique piece.

I am so excited!

I haven’t shared many pictures of my kitchen with you.

Mainly because I am stumped.

When we first moved in, I painted the cabinets, walls, and changed out the floors.

Since then I have not done much.

Although I like the decor in a kitchen to be simple, I think mine is missing something.

 I purchased this rug from Urban Outfitters for $34.00 thinking it would add a little life to my kitchen.

I love this rug, just NOT in my kitchen.

Now back to the drawing board…

Maybe a wall stencil instead?
