Thanks so much for your input on my headboard.

I have decided to go ahead and do it. 

I did consider everything you guys mentioned, but ultimately, I want the room to feel light and airy.

I really think the new headboard will send me in the right direction, plus it will look fabulous!

I have been itching to change up my bedroom.

I still like it but I am ready for something different.

Remember how I got this fabric for Christmas?

I was planning on making pillows for my living room, but once the fabric arrived, I couldn’t help but wonder what it would look like on my headboard.

So, I quickly draped it over…

I had to railroad the fabric since it wasn’t wide enough, but I think it works.

What do you think?

I hope you had a great New Years eve, I know I did.

We had a blast ringing in the New Year with some of our friends!

And to start the year off right, I thought I would share an online design board that I completed for a client’s master bedroom.

She wanted lots of pattern, color, and graphic prints.

I love the way it turned out.

My inspiration for the room was this Lansdale Bouquet in Spring Schumacher pillow.

One of my favorite pillow Etsy shops, Woody Liana, makes the most beautiful lumbar pillows out of this floral print.

I love everything about this pillow.

You also might recognize this fabric from this stunning office in Lonny Magazine.

If only it wasn’t $148.00/yard.

Although I do think the perfect fabric is worth the splurge, it can really transform a space.

This living room in Elle Decor is really speaking to me right now.

 It is crisp and inviting, the perfect combination, if you ask me.

And I am obsessed with those kilim covered chairs, they add the perfect ethnic vibe to the space.

Simple and clean.

Sometimes I think taking down Christmas is just as much fun as putting it up.
