I hope you had a great New Years eve, I know I did.
We had a blast ringing in the New Year with some of our friends!
And to start the year off right, I thought I would share an online design board that I completed for a client’s master bedroom.
She wanted lots of pattern, color, and graphic prints.
I love the way it turned out.
My inspiration for the room was this Lansdale Bouquet in Spring Schumacher pillow.
One of my favorite pillow Etsy shops, Woody Liana, makes the most beautiful lumbar pillows out of this floral print.
I love everything about this pillow.

If only it wasn’t $148.00/yard.
Although I do think the perfect fabric is worth the splurge, it can really transform a space.

So inspiring! I always justify a splurge by finding a way to cut back on something else in the room! And for that fabric, I might give up food!

I love this design board! We were bought identical bedding for christmas, so it is nice to see what someone else would pair it with.
I was at fabricland yesterday for my next project and almost walked out with a $3/m fabric just because it was on sale. But instead walked out with a $28/m because it was “the one”.

a few years ago I would have said no way, but now I think that an amazing fabric is totally worth it. Curtains could break the bank but I have no problem buying really expensive pillows now. Some day I will own curtains in chiang mai dragon–someday!
I have a hard time spending a tone on fabric. I change things so often in my home. If I spent 148.00 on a yard of fabric I would feel stuck. :$ I love the fabric though! Btw..where did you get the chevron striped fabric??

UGH I’m totally obsessed with Schumacher’s hot house fabric right now! I would LOVE to splurge on it but its just not practical for me :/
