I really adore the graphic print of the blue and white rug mixed with the wood dresser and gold accents. Obviously we couldn’t leave out a few pops of pink.
At first my client wasn’t sold on the blue and white rug, so I put together a more monochromic option.
I quite like this look too, but it’s no secret that I am a color girl at heart.
Which look do you prefer?
xo,

I love that blue rug! It really grounded the room more & made it a little less predictable. Gorgeous room either way, though.
Thanks! I lean towards the blue too but I love it both ways as well.
Where is that gorgeous floor lamp from?? Beautiful plan.
It is from Crate and Barrel!
I’m drawn to the second one!
Where is the painting from?
The artist is Michelle Armas. She has an Etsy shop!
I love the second option the best.-so soothing. Beautiful designs either way!!
I love both rooms, but I think the blue rug is more practical for a baby/kids room. it gives a little more punch of color!!! Love the dresser! Hate that restoration hardware is so darn expensive!
It is spendy but hopefully will hold up well for all her kids and then some!
Where is the ceiling light from?
Lovely design plan. I like both it would be hard to decide.
I need that pink hamper/basket for my nursery. Where is it from?
I like both, but I feel the blue and white rug in the first scheme pulls it together more and gives the room a good ‘anchor.’ Hope she likes both! 😉
Where is the blue and white rug from? I’m in LOVE with it!!
Love the 1st one – but with pink fringe on the drapes! 🙂 Gorgeous design! Do you ever get “after” pics? would love to see this come to life!
Hello!
Today in my blog: blackboards!! http://allyouneedishome.blogs.elle.es/2014/01/26/puedo-escribir-en-la-pizarra/
WOW so pretty! The blue rug looks like a must have!
Both rooms are just gorgeous. I think the blue rug is more practical for messy kids though 😉
That painting is my FAVORITE! I’ve been eyeing it for my little girl’s room for ages, I need to just break down and buy it 🙂 Where is the moose head from? That would be the perfect piece to finish my boys room.
