I love the concept of displaying children’s art in their rooms.
Simple and inexpensive frames can create a cohesive look and provide the perfect place to showcase your little one’s art.
I love this gallery wall.
This art cluster is so sweet.
The pictures can also be easily swapped out for new ones.
Even just paintings tacked to the wall look great if arranged properly.
Lately, Emory loves painting and coloring.
Yesterday we got our paint on.
I have 5 Ikea frames that need to be filled in Emory’s room.
I was originally going to fill them with portraits, but I have since changed my mind.
I think her darling art will do!
These ones are just practice, we are going to create our final ones on cardstock.
I also might help direct her on color selection…
How do you display your children’s art?
I miss having “refrigerator” art!! We had several frames from PB when our girls were little that had backs you could slip pictures/drawings in and out of easily. We displayed them in their playroom. Another idea I saw was having them made into books through companies like Shutterfly. What a great way to preserve their art without it taking up a lot of room. And, I think it would make a great gift for a grandparent!
I love this idea!
I’ve got a lot of fridge art but some in frames in the playroom- I love the idea of a whole kid art wall- definitely on my to do list…it’s a long one!!
Yup, I’m pretty sure that I have all those photos saved in my inspiration files for kids art! Right now, I have some art on the fridge and I also have a painted canvas that Keaton did on the wall. We have a drop-in paint studio by my house and they have a Mommy and Tot day, so we went and had lots of fun! I think I’m going to get him to do more of the canvas painting because you don’t need to frame them and they kind of have a professional look to them….if only I could get him to stop mixing colours so they look brown 🙂
Great inspiration images, love to display my children’s art, usually framed. They love it! Janell
Darling. We have it all over the place. I love seeing their artwork and so do they.
I’m ALL about this. We started having Lilly paint a little before she turned one, starting a collection 🙂
Love, love, love the Lonny image, especially because the grasscloth wallpaper really contrasts the children’s artwork. Please show us your gallery wall when you finish hanging it!
Love the images you chose! Excited to see her art in her room!
So CUTE! No kids yet, but when we do have them…
i ADORE this idea! saving to my future home folder! xoxo jcd (ps im hosting a link up for interior spaces and inspiration! cornflake dreams )
These are all great spaces and the kid art adds a wonderful element. I have drawers full of art x 3 kids but have only ever displayed it in an impromptu fashion. This is great inspiration!
I love this! What a great idea–and I you can rotate them as they get older and produce more art!
What a fun idea. I imagine she will love seeing her paintings displayed! An attorney I work with has a gallery wall of her kids’ paintings in her office and it makes me happy every time I see it!
I have a gallery wall of some of the kids’ best art. I had custom mats cut to fit their art in Ikea frames!
love the art against the grass cloth wall paper
Love It! What a great DIY!
