Displaying Children’s Art

I love the concept of displaying children’s art in their rooms.
Simple and inexpensive frames can create a cohesive look and provide the perfect place to showcase your little one’s art.
I love this gallery wall.
This art cluster is so sweet.
The pictures can also be easily swapped out for new ones.

Even just paintings tacked to the wall look great if arranged properly.

Lately, Emory loves painting and coloring.
Yesterday we got our paint on.
I have 5 Ikea frames that need to be filled in Emory’s room.
I was originally going to fill them with portraits, but I have since changed my mind.

I think her darling art will do!
These ones are just practice, we are going to create our final ones on cardstock.
I also might help direct her on color selection…
How do you display your children’s art?

I miss having “refrigerator” art!! We had several frames from PB when our girls were little that had backs you could slip pictures/drawings in and out of easily. We displayed them in their playroom. Another idea I saw was having them made into books through companies like Shutterfly. What a great way to preserve their art without it taking up a lot of room. And, I think it would make a great gift for a grandparent!

Yup, I’m pretty sure that I have all those photos saved in my inspiration files for kids art! Right now, I have some art on the fridge and I also have a painted canvas that Keaton did on the wall. We have a drop-in paint studio by my house and they have a Mommy and Tot day, so we went and had lots of fun! I think I’m going to get him to do more of the canvas painting because you don’t need to frame them and they kind of have a professional look to them….if only I could get him to stop mixing colours so they look brown 🙂

Love, love, love the Lonny image, especially because the grasscloth wallpaper really contrasts the children’s artwork. Please show us your gallery wall when you finish hanging it!

What a fun idea. I imagine she will love seeing her paintings displayed! An attorney I work with has a gallery wall of her kids’ paintings in her office and it makes me happy every time I see it!
