i still have a thing for taxidermy in interiors.
an affordable option, cardboard taxidermy.
i have a picture shelf above my television dying for a little dimension.
a cardboard animal just might do the trick.
mini animal heads sell for $12.00 and large ones for $58.00
cardboard safari carries a wide variety of animal heads.
i just love the mini deer heads, too cute!
uncommon goods also sells a unique cardboard collection.
my daughter would love the elephant.
urban outfitters carries the classic deer head.
and west elm also sells a deer and moose head.
i am leaning towards the classic deer.
what do you think of cardboard taxidermy?
thumbs up or down?
I Love them. I like the classic deer head.
So creative to use cardboard. Thanks for sharing ; )
Agree this is so creative! xo
My 16 year old desperately wants one of these and I think they’re very cute- especially for a kids’ room. Thumbs up from me.
I think they’re cute! The deer is my fave but even the moose would be appropriate for our place since both tend to roam our area. Sure beats the real thing my step-father-in-law would have hanging in his place! ugh!
I actually have a big moose one in my living room. I probably won’t have it forever, but it works now. And I just added a felt ball garland to it, so it’s looking super fabulous!
Very fun! I think these would work in a kids room best!

I think they’re really cute! I’d probably prefer it sprayed white…but then that kind of defeats the purpose of it being cardboard, huh? You could probably oragami one with your mack-talents!
I love the look. In the past, I have found them to be expensive, but these cardboard versions are great and inexpensive. I think it would make a great conversation piece and a chic addition to any room! I think they would look amazing in a group, on a wall!
For sure thumbs up! I love an affordable way to get the look.
I think those are pretty sweet! I would probably spray paint mine white though.
I love it. The cardboard is an affordable way to use a trendy design element in your home. And there is something so minimalist about the cardboard that I’m drawn to.
I say yes yes yes! Some say they are passe, but I still love them!:)
FYI…they are all over Etsy as well!
Thumbs up!! I’ve been coveting a deerhead from Cardboard Safari for quite a while.
I just got the moose one from West Elm! He’s super cute, his name is Fred Jr. 🙂
I have Fred the Moose in my foyer.
