black & white

while browsing through lonny magazine this morning i couldn’t help but notice a theme.
black and white interiors, especially in the bathroom.
i have always been a fan of crisp white bathrooms, they scream fresh and clean.
these black & white bathrooms are making me re-think my bathroom style.

thrifty tuesday: napkin pillows

last night i went to world market.
I wondered the isles taking it all in.
i find their colors, patterns, art, and exotic foods to be so inspirational.
while browsing through the kitchen section i came across cloth napkins.
floral, graphic, simple, plain, i am pretty sure my blood pressure started to rise.
my thoughts:
20″ x 20″
$2.99 each
umm…pillows!
i bought 4 blue & white ones.
perfect for my bedroom.

as soon as i got home i googled ‘making pillows out of napkins’.
i knew i couldn’t be the first one to do this.
and what did i find?
