Online Living Room Design

I am behind on sharing online designs that I have recently completed.
So, here is a family room that I love!
Designing on a budget can be challenging but very rewarding.
I love transforming spaces with “real people” budgets.
Not everyone can afford $10,000 family rooms, at least I cant.
The budget for this design was $1,500.00
This had to include window treatments, rug, ottoman, pillows, lighting, and accessories.
The final design came in at $1584.00, not bad 🙂
Color and pattern are great ways to change a space without spending lots of money.
I added simple graphic drapery, colorful pillows, and a playful ottoman to liven up the space.
Silhouettes are always a great way to personalize a family room and are inexpensive artwork.
I love the playful welcoming vibe this family room has, I can’t wait to see it complete!

My Weekly Wish List…

Every week my wish list seems to grow.
Here are some of the affordable selections on my list…
This beauty comes from a new pillow Etsy Shop, Lily on Blue.
I like her pillows, I like her prices.
$48.00 and she is mine!

I also have a small obsession with this Schumacher ikat fabric.
Colorful, playful, and unique.
 I like it!
And who doesn’t love a good Ikat Chevron fabric.
yum.

I must find a spot for this Lauren DiCioccio print from 20 x 200.
 14″ x 11″ for $50.00, not bad!
I guess I have a thing for dots?

And I would love to have this elephant hook from Anthropologie for $20.00.
Emory loves elephants and it would be perfect for her room.
My online shopping cart is full at most stores.
Please tell me I am not the only one that puts items in my cart without purchasing?

The Details

I came across this dining room on Droolworthy Decor and I fell in love.
It is light and simple but the details are incredible.
One day I will have a coffered ceiling, I promise.
Oh, and check out the pattern of the hardwood floor, it gives me warm fuzzies.
Going in the inspiration file.
