I can’t believe it took me so long to discover the beauty of a paint sprayer.

It was fast, easy, and did an amazing job.

Many of you have mentioned wanting one, I say do it.

It is well worth the money!

Here are my tips:

1. It is SO important to clean it out the sprayer thoroughly. Cleaning the sprayer takes twice as long painting but is necessary in order to keep the sprayer working good.

2. Always spray another object first to get the an even spray before spraying your piece.

3. Do thin coats, this prevents dripping.

4. Make sure you give adequate drying time between the coats.

5.  Don’t underestimate the amount of paint. The paint sprayer uses more paint but coats wonderfully.

Other than that, it is super easy.

My Mom and I finally finished our painting projects.

Remember how we bought a paint sprayer? Yes, I am still obsessed.

We chose a bright aqua blue,  I love how fun and playful the color is.

We painted the coffee table a crisp white, added a couple accessories and pillows from TJ Maxx, and a cowhide rug to the floor that my mom had lying around the cabin.

The pillows were definitely the inspiration for the new color palette.

I love how fresh the blue cabinet looks with the crisp white interior.

Isn’t it amazing what a little paint can do for a room?

 

My mom still has plans to replace the brown sofa with a white one, but I think our mini makeover was a success.

I am currently working on an online design for a client who has such a fun style.

I came across this Etsy shop, Type Posters, and knew they would fit perfectly in the design.

They have SO many amazing posters to choose from and the prices are great too.

I love the playful sayings and bold colors.

These dog silhouettes are adorable.

And I am obsessed with this oversized love poster.  

I will definitely be keeping this shop on my list of favorites.

We have hit a roadblock in our painting project, we have some serious bleeding through issues.

I am no painting expert and I am a little confused.

We have painted 2 coats of regular primer and 2 coats of Kilz stain blocker primer and it is still bleeding through.

We are using a water based primer, is that the problem?

Help!

Any suggestions?

We want to get this project done!
