Keeping It Eclectic

I love it when I come across unique and eclectic children’s spaces.
This play room by Aesthetic Outburst definitely fits the bill.
And look at that amazing chevron mat.
That’s right, it’s not a rug, it is a play mat painted with chevron stripes.
Love it.

I adore the vintage doll house.

And in honor of the Christmas season, check out her tree…

Definitely not traditional but I do love it.

Blogger Social!

On Thursday night I attended a blogger social at Alice Lane Home Collection.
Kirsten from 6th Street Design School and Alice Lane put on quite the party.
Even the invitations were perfect.

The food was delicious, lots of yummy goodies to munch on.

We mingled for a while and then did a gift exchange.

We each brought a handmade gift to giveaway.
We drew names to see who won our gift.

I made a DIY sequin paper garland, just like Caitlin’s.
I went home with 3 homemade journals that Diane Davis made, so cute!

Alice Lane went all out with the party favors, homemade biscuits and jam.
Yum!

Here is a list if the attendees!

World Market Holiday Decor Rocks!

If you haven’t hit up World Market for some holiday decor yet, then you are missing out!
They have the best accessories, you know the pieces that add that special touch.
Here are a few of my favorites…
1.2.3.4.5.6
And since Emory has a big obsession with Santa this year, I snagged this adorable vintage inspired Santa for her nightstand.
To say she likes it is an understatement.
And I love it too!
Have you scored yourself anything special from World Market yet?

He’s Home & Giveaways!

Yesterday Zack returned home from a 4 week medical clerkship in Idaho.
We are very happy to have him around again.
And since Emory rarely gets to see her dad (medical school is the worst!) she was thrilled to spend the morning with him.
Unfortunately for you, blogging hit the bottom of my to-do list.
I am soaking up every minute of having him around.
Sorry!
Since things are kind of boring around here, you should hit up Angie Helm Interiors for some awesome giveaways.
So far you can enter to win a print from Plum Street Prints or an adorable tie from Homemade by Emy.
And I hear she has a couple more giveaways up her sleeve.
Gotta love free stuff 🙂
Also, I will be heading to a blogger social tonight with some incredible bloggers, I can’t wait.
More on that tomorrow!
