Affordable Etsy Abstract Art

One of my favorite things to do is browse Etsy (nerd alert!).
It’s so easy to get lost in the endless talent and I find it so inspiring.
Abstract prints/paintings are totally my thing right now and I love finding new-to-me artists!
Not only do these artists have amazing talent, they also are providing affordable art.
It’s a win win right?

Pink + Gold Bedroom E-Designs!

Last month I was lucky enough to design bedrooms for two little sisters.
The bedrooms share a bathroom (jack and jill style) so my client wanted them to coordinate but not be too matchy matchy. Of course all little girls love pink, so I stuck with pink as an accent color in both spaces.

This rug was my starting point for the design. It comes in several color ways but I really can’t get enough of this bright pink!
I can’t think of many color combos I like better than pink and gold, so this gold lamp was a must.
Who doesn’t love a good gallery wall. I can’t get enough of the abstract art

For the second bedroom I kept the pink & gold as accent colors but added in a little blue!
It’s hard not to love this gold and white polka dot bedding from Pottery Barn. I really love the stripes and polka dots paired together.
Of course I love the triangle rug too!
Of course I loved every minute working on these bedrooms.
There is just something so fun about designing children’s spaces, it definitely cannot be considered work!

Thrifty Tuesday: H&M Home

I purchase most of my clothes (and my kids) from H&M. In my opinion, you really can’t beat their style or the prices! Turns out they also have some pretty awesome Home Decor with equally awesome prices.

First up, the pillows are great. The most expensive pillow in this round-up is $17.95 and most of them are only $5.95! What?

This twin duvet cover is so great and is only $24.99. I am thinking it just might be perfect for Emory’s bed in our next place. Gender neutral and fun.
I also do love this heart duvet for $24.95.
Pretty sure I need this striped storage bin for $24.95!
The pattern on this little white metal container is top notch. Can it really only be $4.95?
I really love this porcelain box for $7.95. It could add the perfect touch of pattern or color to any space you are styling.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out their home line, I recommend you do! There are lots of goodies for great pieces.

Stylish & Affordable Home Tour!

Today I have such a fun home tour for you! Kristin from Bliss at Home has incredible style and creates her home on a dime. It really is so inspiring.

Hi, there! I am Kristin Cadwallader and I am the girl behind Bliss at Home. I started B@H on a whim one day, just as an outlet to share my ideas and connect with other design and DIY creatives. I quickly fell in love with blogging and it has opened so many doors. It’s great when your passions align with your work! While I am a busy wife, mom of two boys, and a design blogger– I love our sometimes crazy lifestyle.

I love high-end looks and have expensive taste, but like Danielle, I have to work within my budget. A lot of my DIY’s are bred from this, and I love to share ways to achieve good design without breaking the bank. My designer crushes are Jonathan Adler, Kelly Wearstler, and Celerie Kemble. I also pull a lot of my inspiration from the fashion world. I’d love for you to come visit me on Bliss at Home where I share all of our projects and remodel of a 1950’s brick ranch.

Her home is packed full of DIY projects but you would never know, just my style.
Head on over to her blog to find daily inspiration! I highly recommend it. You can also find her on FB, and Instagram!
Thanks so much Kristin!
