Today my hubby completed his second year of medical school!

Goodbye second year, you will not be missed.

I wanted to take a nice picture to mark this happy day.

Unfortunately all I got is licked, hit in the face, hair pulled, and silly faces.

Oh well, we are still thrilled!

I finally finished styling Emory’s bookcase.

I love the way it turned out, simple yet functional.

It was in desperate need of some attention.

And what’s better than stylish toy storage?

The frames are from Ikea and I got he pictures printed at Costco.

The lamp, jewelry box, vase, and pedestal dish are all from HomeGoods.

I am happy to say that her room is complete!

I sat down at the computer for a couple of minutes to check my e-mails and finish a blog post.

Emory found the fabric paint.

She deserves all the credit for this DIY project.

She so kindly painted the floor, table, chair, rug, a doll, and her clothes.
