I decided to start a new blog, Bed Rest & Baby, writing about my daily adventures on hospital bed rest.

I’ll still post small updates of my journey here, but I plan on keeping this blog mainly focused on interior design.

If you want all of the details (and I didn’t leave much out) about my current adventure, you will have to check out my new blog!

I’m hoping this will help keep everyone updated, and I am sure I will love reading it in a few years too.

Thanks for being so patient with me, I am finally getting the hang of this whole bed rest thing.

Also, today marks 3 full weeks of bed rest and I am officially 27 weeks!

Oh, and Happy Halloween!

I spend lots and lots of time searching for the right pillows for clients.

I’ve wanted to put together pillow round-ups by color for a while now, but haven’t had the time to get it done.

So, I started with a round-up of navy pillows, one of my favorite colors.

Although most of these pillows are spendy, the majority of them are made from quality designer fabrics.

You just can’t go wrong with quality fabrics.

I plan on doing many more pillow round-ups by color and will put a link on my sidebar for easy access.

I know this will be helpful for me in future design projects, and hopefully it will be for you too.

Everyday I rely on Doctors, Nurses, Aids, Housekeeping, and Food Services to accomplish my daily activities.

With Halloween approaching, I thought it would be fun to make a little goodie bag to show my appreciation.

I kept it really simple by mixing candy corn, cashews, and peanut butter m&m’s in a cute little orange paper container. The mixture of these 3 ingrediants is insanely delicious and quite addictive I must say.

I then wrapped them in cellophane, tied them with black ribbon, and added a cute black and white striped gift tag.

I wrote a simple little note on the card expressing how much I appreciate what these wonderful people do for me everyday, and of course wished them a Happy Halloween!

I purchased the orange paper containers, striped gift tags, cellophane, and ribbon all at Target.

It was so easy and I love how they turned out.

Hopefully this will bring a little cheer to the hospital staff on Halloween, and let’s be honest, it never hurts to get on their good side as well!

I saw a sneak peek of this nursery designed for The Animal Print Shop by Morgan Satterfield a couple weeks ago on Instagram and fell in love.

The finished space is pretty darn perfect if you ask me.

I love it’s simplicity and I love that womb chair!
