If you are anything like me, then you spend a good amount of time looking for vintage rugs online. It feels like an addiction, and I just can’t stop.

Depending on the style/look you are going for, here are a few keywords that have really helped me during my searches on eBay!
I am by no means an expert on vintages rugs or styles, but I do know that I love the selection that pops up when I search using these keywords. I hope it is helpful for you too!
Also, last year Studio Mcgee put together an awesome list of go-to places to search for such rugs. You can go here to check it out!
Happy rug shopping!
Addiction is right! I’ve been on the hunt for some vintage rugs, but since we are also in a rental, I really don’t want to spend a ton of money on one that might not fit when we move. Thanks for your tips! They will come in handy while fueling my addiction 🙂

Hi!
I love your website and that you are doing it all on a budget. We are looking for rugs for our dining area and bedroom. If you have time will you do a post explaining what materials in rugs are good for each area of the house? We have two littles so I know the dining one needs to be very easy to clean, but I have no idea what materials that would be.
Thanks!
