I have several friends who are expecting babies and on the hunt for the perfect glider or rocker.
There are two frustrating things about shopping for the perfect glider. First, majority of them are ugly. Second, if they are not ugly then they are expensive.
As a mom to a 3-month old baby, I know how much time you spend feeding/rocking/cuddling a baby. In my opinion, the chair is worth the $$.
Here are a few of my favorite glider/rocker options!
If I had to pick my favorite, I would have to go with the Empire Rocker.
It is just so darn pretty, especially in Me oh My’s nursery.

I just finished up my nursery and wondered a few months ago if a rocker was really necessary. A friend of mine gave me the encouragement I needed to go for it(after explaining the hours upon hours spent in a rocker) so I ended up with a beauty! I prefer a rocker that looks more like a regular accent chair than an actual rocker. These are great picks!

The Empire Rocker is my favorite, too! Love love love that one. I definitely am one to vote FOR spending money on the rocker and crib. I feel like everything else you can buy used, borrow, or get on craigslist. But I just logged so many hours in my rocker, I feel like you need to have one you’d love. With that said, I used an old reclining rocking chair that we already had in our nursery and it totally worked for me. So if you already have one you really like, I don’t think a new one is necessary.
