Chris is a genius!
She found this $3.00 acrylic box picture frame from Hobby Lobby (with a 50% off coupon), removed the back, and added a cute paper to the bottom!
Go here to see her quick tutorial.
This DIY was too good to pass up, so I made my own!
I selected a black and white polka dot paper for the bottom and I love it.
It is just what my coffee table needed and I can’t beat $3.00!
Even if you don’t typically tackle DIY projects, I promise this one is for you!
Seriously so easy.

These prints are too cute to pass up!
Thanks for sharing this clever idea. I “need” a tray with sides and this is great. Also need a simple project 🙂 Your tray is styled perfectly.
Can you create an open idea. Its good but i want to know some more..
Love! Gotta love a good deal!

So glad you shared this! Thanks!
I’ve done this exact thing, except i took it a step further (and added approximately $4 to the cost) and had the paper laminated at my local FedEx/Kinkos. Then i dropped it in the “tray”. I use mine on my desk and felt like this step makes it much more durable.
Seriously chic, it looks fab and I LOVE polka dots!! 😉
Loved the arrangement of your tray..Thanks for sharing…:)
