I am starting to get really excited about the arrival of baby boy Oakey.
I never realized how fun shopping for a little boy can be.
I’ve come up with a few wish list items…
I am pretty darn obsessed with the Etsy shop Little Hip Squeaks.
It has the most adorable blankets, like these colorful mustache baby blankets,
these darling chevron blankets,
and these neon and seafoam blankets!
I also wouldn’t mind getting my hands on some of these leggings…
I am hoping all you experienced boy Moms can help me out.
Are there any baby boy essentials that I must know about?

Such cute finds! It took some extra work to find nice boy clothes (compared to the selection for girls), but in the end I found easy to put on and super comfy soft clothes were best while they’re little! And Adan and Anais swaddles are a must!
We are expecting a boy in March and I am loving following your journey {on instagram too}. Boy clothes are a little harder to come by, but these are SO adorable. Loving the stripes and chevron! I will keep you posted on things I find. Kissy Kissy has been my favorite so far for his coming home clothes!

I have had the best time shopping for my son who is now 4. Some of the brands I really love are Funtasia Too, Zuccini, Bailey Boys, Bella Bliss and Kissy Kissy. Expensive but you can usually find them on sale at nice boutiques.

I love all your picks! Especially the moccasins, I wish I would have bought some for mine when he was a baby. Boys are harder to shop for in the clothing department. I have a 2.5 year old and starting to get it down pretty good. Boys clothes can get “dorky” real fast! This is random: I have an Ebay store and have an adorable Kissy Kissy onsie and jacket on auction right now. It is a preemie size and in great condition. Precious, precious, precious! I love those moccasins : ) I’ve actually found some really cute (and inexpensive!) baby boy items at Old Navy. I’m a big fan of anything striped… and anything blue, since they bring out little HDawg’s eyes. I just bought a bunch of cute bibs from this Etsy shop- http://www.etsy.com/people/SirBubbadoo.
