I’m pretty excited about this new fabric, Shanghai Peacock, from Schumacher.
I haven’t seen it in person yet, but I got this picture from Naomi at Design Manifest.
I love the fabrics she paired it with, how pretty do they all look together?

It makes the most delicious pillows too!
My favorite Etsy pillow store, Woodyliana, is selling this beauty paired with rich dark piping…love it.
This pillow combination is just gorgeous, don’t you think?
The fabric comes in three color ways.
1. Cerise
2. Brass
3. Cinnabar
I’m not convinced this fabric could replace Chiang Mai Dragon, but I think it’s a pretty big competitor,
What do you think? Do you like it?
I’m in LOVE…especially with the cinnabar colorway.
I’m not too sure about the color ways. I think they should come up with brighter colors.
I really love the pattern, the color ways of the swatches aren’t thrilling me, but I do like the color in the first picture so maybe I would just need to see it in ‘real life’ Good excuse to order one? I think so 🙂
Oh my goodness, I love it as a pillow!!
The cinnabar is fab! xxx
It is SO gorgeous. In fact, I think it’s perfect for an accent pillow on a bench in my kitchen! Thanks for sharing the Etsy source too, love that piping…wish she had it in the peacock-red color!
It’s beautiful! I love it so much, I think I’m going to design (or try to, anyway) my formal living room around it!
WOW! That is soooo gorgeous! The best part about Schumacher fabric is not only their colourways but the weight and the way the fabric feels in your hands, simply divine!
I love it. And those color combos. yum!
I was in the showroom for the presentation of these fabrics…..I was thinking that one would soon be everywhere. Every colorway is gorgeous!! Can’t wait to use any one of them.
Danielle – you have no idea what this has done for me. The Cinnabar color has solved the color delimma in my living room. Now, should I save money and attempt to sew the pillow myself?
I was googling Schumacher’s “Mai Dragon” print today and I came across your blog. So happy I did!!!
