This space is particularly narrow making a custom piece the best option.
I think it’s perfect.
Surprisingly, you can often save money getting a piece made instead of buying retail.
Every city should have plenty of independent custom furniture makers, they can be a great option when furnishing your home.
Speaking of custom pieces, my friends custom upholstered headboard is coming along so nicely, it should be done soon.

Yay for Week 25! I love that built in sofa, looks like the perfect place to cuddle up 🙂 I’ve had both my sofa and my headboard custom made for me and they are two of my most favourite pieces in my home. If you don’t mind the time it takes for hand crafted items, I find they are generally not as expensive as buying the same quality from a shop and you get exactly what you are looking for. Win win 🙂 That headboard is so gorgeous! xx
Congrats on week 25! I agree with you about the cost of custom being less than retail in some cases. Another great benefit is the piece is made to fit your space, both stylistically and proportionally. A win all the way around.
