Design projects around my home have definitely been put on the back burner.
I received a few of Sarah’s Gallery Wall pieces a few months back and I am finally getting them hung in Emory’s room.
I spray painted her black ikea frames gold (several months ago) and I love how they turned out!
I actually still need to add the rest of the frames, but at least it’s a start, right?
This guy is still waiting to be hung…
I am working on getting it finished. Hopefully soon!

This room is beautiful! I love the black and white and I think the gold decision was really smart. So pretty – you have great style!
These prints are beautiful, and what a great idea with the gold spray paint. I’ve gold-leafed some frames, which takes time and is a messy project. Spray paint would be much easier, and has a great look as well…..I appreciate the idea! Completely understand about everything taking forever around the house–I feel like I’ve got nothing done all summer! Have a great weekend!

I just used Rust-Oleum’s Gold spray paint in matte finish from Home Depot.

Her room is precious. Slow and steady is great. I just sprayed one of our hallway frames gold as well. It changed the whole look of my daughter’s artwork. {still loving those stripes!}
