Week 13!

I am thrilled to say I am 13 weeks. Not so sure why that is monumental for me, but it just feels so good.
My belly is definitely starting to expand, seems a little large for 13 weeks (agree?), but no complaints here.
My pants are feeling a little snug and my shirts are just not fitting right, it is time for me to go shopping.
Actually, what I really need is Syndey from The Daybook to come and dress me.
I plan on copying her maternity style, it rocked.
I wish I could say my exhaustion is coming to an end, but I can’t seem to survive the day without one (and sometimes two) naps.
Thank goodness Emory will lay beside me with the iPad and let me get some much needed rest. There are definite benefits to having an almost 5 year gap between children.
Also…call me crazy, but I think I can feel the baby move.
Is that possible? Or should I be chalking it up to gas bubbles? Seems a little early but I feel a little flutter every day.
Lastly, I have loved reading every email/comment about pregnancy and the challenges that come with it. It really is amazing how many woman struggle with this very issue. Keep them coming, I would love to hear all of your stories 🙂

Congrats! I am 26 weeks along with my third and I hear ya on the naps! I swear I felt little flutters early on too. But they stopped for a few weeks and I totally freaked out so just a warning that they may come and go in the early early weeks!

Congrats Danielle! I am 21 weeks with my first (a boy!) and you are showing more than I was at 13 weeks, but I heard you “pop” faster with your second baby. I hope all goes well! (Love your blog btw!)

I am SO excited for you. I took a nap every single day my first trimester. Basically I was worthless. 🙂 I couldn’t work or blog because I was too sick and SO tired. But around week 14 I started to get my energy back! You look adorable.

You look darling, Danielle! Feeling those first little flutters is so exciting. I’m glad Emory lets your naps in. I remember being exhausted in the first trimester with all three of my pregnancies. Hopefully you’ll get your energy back in the next few weeks. So excited for you!!

First of all, you’re adorable! I popped at about that time with my second. At 4 months someone asked if there was just one in there! ‘Scuse me?! You don’t say that to a pregnant lady!
I was EXHAUSTED with my second. I took almost two naps a day as well. And I also felt him very early on – he was VERY active. I thought I was having an octopus!
Just do what you do. Have fun shopping!
