I hope you had a great 4th!
This year we got up early so we could be part of the Holladay parade.
We may have been the only float…
But the kids loved it!
My friend did a great job putting it together, and I am pretty sure Emory was on cloud 9.
In between playing, I am also working on some small projects this summer.
These bookshelves are screaming for some styling.
I can’t wait to get my hands on them!
I am hoping to turn them into something like this…

Yummy, but I’ve got my work cut out for me!
I am planning on sharing the styling process with you, hopefully we can all learn a thing or two!
The Root beer float is too, too cute.
Love the root beer “float” 🙂
The root beer float looks like fun! Gorgeous inspiration for the bookshelf. Have a delightful weekend, Kellie xx
Looks like fun!
Where is your bookshelf from? I am in the market for new bookshelves and I want to be sure to buy ones that are well built (no bowing shelves like my last pair of Target bookshelves), but still in my budget (low).
Thanks!
Where is that great fur chair cover from!!!??
That chair is from theartofdoingstuff.com/my-home/
Indeed! It is from me. As is the bookshelf. Well … the whole room really. Danielle … do you think you could credit my post as the original source for this picture as opposed to Pinterest? Thx.! Glad you like my bookshelf styling. ~ karen http://www.theartofdoingstuff.com/my-house
