Men and Pink in Interiors?

It’s no secret that pink is popular in interiors.
I’ve completely fallen in love with this trend, but my husband is not so thrilled about it.
Caitlin Wilson’s home, recently featured in Matchbook Magazine, is chalked full of pink.
I think it is so pretty.

I absolutely adore that coral sofa.

Lately, I have come across some stunning bedrooms.
I’m not going to lie, I wouldn’t mind having a master bedroom filled with pink.

Although my husband is typically opinion free when it comes to decorating, I don’t think he would go for it.

I am thinking it would make a great guest room color palette though.

So, what do you think?
Would your man go for a pink bedroom? Or would he pull the veto card?

I’ve been able to do pink pillows and paint my lampshades coral. I think that is as far as he would like me to take it though 🙂 Caitlin’s home tour is amazing and it totally made me want to add pink everywhere too.

My friend is in the process of redoing her guest bedroom. In a house full of men she’s going very girlie…pale pink walls and I made her pink floral shams with ruffles and a matching quilt to lay at the end of the bed. Girls gotta have pink in their lives!!

I love pink too, but I think my hubs would draw the line at a pink Master Bedroom. He’s pretty opinion free, but I’m guessing he’d never go for that much pink in the spot that he lays his head! Love all the rooms you featured!

I adore all that pink! And so far, hubs has okayed the pink breakfast room drapes and pink doors in the guest bath….he is squeemish about pale pink walls in the DR. I’ll prob win that battle! 😉

We (my husband and I) actually just had this same convo the other day. I’ve convinced him that hits here and there are cool – but a pink sofa was a ‘no’. However, I think if it was the right shade of pink I could trick him into thinking it was a light red. 🙂 I’m loving all the pink!

I’m loving pink too! David typically lets me have free reign over design choices, but I think he would draw the line at pink … who knows maybe one day 🙂

I decided it was time for a pink coffee table in our living room…I did not get this approved by the hubs. I don’t think he was impressed, but he’s grown to love {more like tolerate} it. Love him for that, haha!

I’m lucky that my husband doesn’t really care. I could paint the whole house pink and put flowers and bunnies everywhere and I don’t think he’d mind! But when I added pink to the office, I kept it on my side of the room.

Oh, it would totally get a veto, but I am already scheming to pinkify the guest bedroom. Caitlin’s fabrics are tops on my list to kick it off!

Great topic!! Rule of thumb I like to have a little pink in every room. I have always loved it. Ryan wasn’t so hot about the idea at first but now he loves it too (in moderation) and we have a pink headboard for our bedroom currently in the works.

I am loving pink right now. In fact, I just painted a desk coral with gold accents and put it in my bedroom without the hubs approval. Luckily, he’s pretty easygoing 🙂 Now, I just need to change out the bedding. Do you have any idea where the bedding in about the third picture down (blue duvet with large flowers) is from. I tried to find the original pin/post, but couldn’t. Thanks Danielle!
