Last Friday my sister and her three kids drove down to Salt Lake City from Calgary.
It took her 16 hours, what a trooper!
The trip was spontaneous, she decided to come on Thursday and was in the car by Friday morning.
It’s a good thing she didn’t think about too long, that drive is rough with little ones.
Since they have arrived we haven’t stopped.
We have been everywhere I can think of, it has been so fun!
I have learned something new about myself lately, I am the worst blogger on vacation and “stay-cation”. I just can’t get it done!
Hang in there with me, summers are just a little random around here.
They leave in the morning, I am so sad to see them go.

That is a rough drive! I can’t believe how many times I did the drive growing up from Calgary to Washington/Utah/Oregon. Now whenever my husband and I have to travel with the kiddos we take 5 hour energy drinks and drive through the night. I feel like we’re Edward and Bella. Only mortal and tired. My friends at church gave me that suggestion after their long trips to Utah. At first I was skeptical but now I’m a convert.
