We have been working hard on my sisters kitchen.
Before I arrived she had already added the trim, crown moulding, and started priming.
Remember the before…
And today we put on the first coat of paint!
I can’t believe the difference already.
We still have lots to do, but don’t you already love it?
I’ll share all the details (like paint colors & painting tips) soon, but for now I am off to paint!
Oh, and it is looking like we are going to make our $500.00 budget 🙂
It already looks tons better! I love the colors you chose!!

What a difference already! Looks like a lot of hard work, but worth it in the end!
Looks amazing! I love the grey. Can’t wait to see it completed!!
Such an improvement already! I painted my kitchen cabinets a few years ago and I still can’t believe what a difference a few coats of paint makes. Can’t wait to see the rest!
I love it. Can not wait to see the rest of the photos.
Awesome. I love the grey on the island.. can’t wait for you to share the color! You are a great sister!
Paint colors???? Grey is so hard to get the right shade, some are so blue and purple looking! Looks great!
That looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see the final result. Love the grey on the island. And the trim and moulding sure make those cabinets have much more presence. Great job.
Amazing!!! You guys work fast! What a difference… this is going to be a fabulous before/after!!!
Love the colour and I can’t believe the difference some trim and a little paint makes already – awesome!!
Oooh yes! Already looks wonderful! So fresh and bright. And the trim!! Makes a huge difference.
This is looking awesome. I am 80% there on doing this to my kitchen, and posts like these help with my inspiration!
Thanks.

Wow! That color looks SO great! What a fun project to do with your sis! I have my sister’s apartment tour on my blog today 🙂 Love those sisters haha.
love it! can’t wait for the finished product :o)
Oh WOW! Its crazy how different the wall color looks now that the cabinets are slowly turning lighter! LOVE it. I’m DYING to paint my cabinets but they are fairly new and were custom made so I don’t dare touch them. I’m worried the light cabinets will fade out and the natural wood will come back in right after I do ha
The trim looks fantastic! The cabinets were transformed from dinky to fabulous! I hope you will share the size, type of trim you used. The older type of short uppers always look so stunted to me and you have corrected it. Good job. MHD
I can’t believe what a difference there is and the project isn’t even complete! The kitchen looks amazing, nice work! Can’t wait to see the final reveal!!
