Yesterday I flew into Baton Rouge Louisiana to help a friend finish decorating a home she just bought.
The next four days will be packed full of shopping, decorating, DIY projects, and LOTS of eating southern food.
This is my first time visiting the good ole south, I can’t wait to experience it.
I will be popping back in to share our progress, it should be lots of fun.
Do you know of any good home decor shopping spots in New Orleans?
I would love to hear!
Ahhh hope you have so much fun! Can’t wait to see what fun projects you work on 🙂

Ohh sounds like so much fun. I’ve never been south either. Have fun!!
New Orleans is my favorite city! The garden district is precious and there are tons of great antique stores (maybe more for inspiration then buying) in the French Quarter. If you decide you need to take a break from house shopping to do some clothes shopping, head to Hemlines. They have one in the French Quarter (right near Jackson Square) and in the Garden District. Have fun and dont forget to try a praline 🙂
i am from louisiana. lived in baton rouge for the past eight years before moving to memphis. great shopping all along magazine street in new orleans. have fun!!
