I rarely get requests for modern designs, but I love it when I do.
I recently completed this living room design and I had so much fun working on it.
Since my client wanted to include a Eames lounge chair in the room, I used it as an inspiration piece for the design.
Natural woods and a neutral color scheme create a modern yet welcoming space.
I also created a design for her dining room.
The space is small so I kept it light and simple.
I did add this fun FLOR rug.
I am obsessed with the pattern and color.
I think it adds the perfect amount of flair to the space.
I can’t wait to see the after pictures!
I am not usually a fan of modern decor, but I love what you have put together. I am drawn to the clean lines!!
oooh! I love that rug!
So pretty! Modern design is not my comfort zone, but for some reason with my local clients it’s always a request. I typically freak out a bit and wonder why they picked me and then take a deep breath and make it work. I normally inject a little bit of me into the modern design to make it a bit more cozy. I love what you did above. I would totally feel at home there.
Looks great…I am a fan of just a touch of modern! BTW, you did a great job on your desk in your last post!
Love this design and the FLOR tiles.
I love modern design! Although, my own is a little more eclectic…modern is refreshing at times. I also adore that rug, fabulous!! Can’t wait to see the finished space.
i love modern design as well! but just as you did.. with some cosiness and color.. thanks for sharing!
I love all of the touches of wood on these boards. I love those FLOR tiles too!! They had another pattern that I really liked but it must be discontinued because I haven’t seen them recently.
nice design......
