Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends and family.
I must admit, I am feeling a little homesick.
There is nothing worse than missing out on holidays with the family.
Yesterday I had some friends over to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving.
It was a last minute decision so I quickly put together a feast!
I also placed some Canadian words in the middle of the table.
My American friends had a blast trying to guess the meanings of the words.
It was fun.
Luckily, I am heading back to the Great White North next week to meet my newest neice.
I can’t wait 🙂
HAPPY THANKSGIVING DANIELLE! How nice that you were able to put together a little Thanksgiving feast!
We had a pretty informal dinner at my parents place yesterday. My brother got married on Saturday, so there wasn’t much focus on Thanksgiving this year! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving! I guess I didn’t know you were Canadian?? Glad you enjoyed the Canadian version of the holiday this weekend. I guess that just means you get twice the turkey!
How fun! Looks like it was a cute “thrown together” party. You’d never know it was last minute. And love that Missoni put to good use 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving Danielle! Garburater! I love it! Hope everything is going well for Chelsey. I bet that little babe is gorgeous. Have fun and do some extra shopping at Superstore for me!
Happy thanksgiving! I know the feeling! great that you are going soon! love your last minute decor..
Happy T-Day to you Canadian! I love your uber hip, ‘thrown together’ party decor. Very fun. loving this B & W I keep seeing this year.
Fun! Happy Thanksgiving to you 😉
Happy Thanksgiving, Dani. We did the same– had friends over to celebrate the holiday. But I love the idea of putting Canadian words on the table. Genius! Duotang is always a funny one to see what people think it is.
Seeing this post just warmed my heart! I’ve read your blog before, and am a fellow Canadian transplanted to the U.S. I missed my family (and turkey) yesterday, and am so glad to see that you pulled together a great little celebration to honor (honour :)) our holiday. I’d love to know what words you put on the table–what a fun idea!
