I am attracted to a wide variety of styles.
If I had to design my dream home today, I would definitely be conflicted.
Whenever I see a simple modern interior, I love it.
Interior designer, Natasja Molenaar, portfolio is packed full of simple interiors.
I particularly like this home.

I love that it is not too modern but it is still so simple.
And I can’t get enough of the black and white color scheme!
Could you live in an interior like this?
I always love this look when I see it in magazines but I’m way too much of a collector. I like things from different places and in various colors.
I love how clean and simple it is, while still being warm! That is so hard to accomplish
Of course! It is so clean. Haha. Neutrals are my favorite.
If there were toys all over the place, the Hubs had left dishes right next to the sink, and sippy cups on the coffee table then yes, I could live in that space. HA! With little ones a bit too minimalist but something that I do love.
The look is impressive and I can defintely appreciate the beautiful simplicity of this design, but I personally love interiors with more drama…layers, patterns, and colors have always been more my personal taste. At the same time, I love it when interiors have simple, clean pieces like this mixed in with other elements to keep it keeps it from looking too stark.
Funny. I am the same way. Not sure I could live in it, but I am sooooo drawn to it. I love the minimal spaces and many aspects of our house are minimal . . just can’t pull it off all around.
I like the fresh, simplicity of it, but those walls are crying out for some art 🙂
I look at a place like that, and I wonder to myself “but where are all their THINGS?” Truth is, I need color and pattern and texture and vibrancy. If a place is really really simple, it looks unfinished to me.
Love those bar stools!
I absolutely love the minimalist look. What is key for me (and I am currently trying to tackle in my new home) is to have appropriate storage that doesn’t take up space. Just means that the closets actually have to be organized and can’t have randomness thrown in! Some simple monochromatic art would be nice to add in a splash of color here and there though.
Very pretty…I always love black and white. The ebony stained stairs look great for a little contrast.
Not me, I couldn’t live there – it seems to be screaming, ‘add some color, add some color!!!’ ;-0
I alway like the minimal, look in photos, but in real life, I need pillows and accessories that make a room cozy
I just found your blog and I am in love! Your chair printables are too cute! I am definitely adding you to my google reader!

I like the look of it, but I couldn’t live there either. It’s just not me. I like my “things” 🙂

I’m just like you. I keep telling Jon we need multiple homes so I can design them each in a different style. That is so not happening. I like the minimal/modern style for other people more. I tend to like more stuff in my spaces.
I love simple interiors and this is definitely how to do it right. So inspiring!
I love the simple modern look too. But when I think about having it in my own home I just don’t see it happening, mostly because I fell like you REALLY have to keep everything neat and tidy or it ruins the sleek calming look of the space. Maybe someday when my kids all all grown up 🙂
these pics make me want to wipe my tables clean!!!
