Remember my quest for a new desk?
Well I found one.
Not exactly what I was looking for, but I think it will work.
I plan on following Jenny’s recommendation and use Rustoleums Protective Enamel oil based paint.

Her little side table came out great and I really want that lacquered look.
Hopefully I can find a color that will work!

And my faux bamboo chairs are finally going to get some paint as well.
I am so excited but tired just thinking about it!
I can’t wait to see it when it’s all finished.
I cannot wait to see this table when you are finished. I know it will look fabulous!!
Love the desk…great bones.
What a great desk- cant wait to see the finished product!
Can’t wait to see! Hopefully it will kick my butt into gear to do my end tables!

Good luck Danielle! The lines of the desk are beautiful! I love how Jenny’s table turned out!
What a beautiful desk! I really want to try these paints out after reading about them on LGN but I couldn’t find a color that would work… colors are a little bit limited. But the next time I paint something white and I’m out of my usual latex white paint, I will definitely give these a go!
Yea for a desk! It’s got great potential… I can’t wait to see what it looks like when your finished 🙂 Good Luck!
very cool desk! I just used the Rustolium paint on a little night stand and it came out great! wish I could show you a picture because it came out just adorable. I can’t wait to see your desk (and chairsss!)
I was also inspired by Jenny’s little table. Just used the same color she did and love it. Rumor has it that Glidden has a trim/door paint that is similar with several add’l colors available. Here’s a link to my project: http://makethemwonderblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/no-sanding-required.html
Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out!
