Does anyone else feel like as soon as they are finished decorating a room they are ready to start over again?
That describes me.
Kristen from Kristen F Davies Designs also suffers from this curse.
She is constantly changing up her spaces and each of them are amazing.
Lately her living room went for this…
To this…
Such a drastic change but I love them both!
And how awesome is she for just doing it?
Have you seen her bedroom evolve?
From this…
To this…
To this…

Isn’t she incredible?
My project list just got a little longer.
Hopefully I can spice things up around here with just a little paint, inexpensive fabric, and lots of elbow grease!
Do you have the curse?
Absolutely have this curse, but not the money to feed it. And wow those transformations…
Wow. That is all I can say—and each room is beautiful to begin with—and then more beautiful the next time around!
I do it by season, granted the changes aren’t too dramatic or else I would be broke, but I switch up pillows, blankets, and other accent pieces to freshen the room up.
I really love the leopard and orange in the 3rd bedroom picture.
haha, thanks!!! this post flatters me, and cracks me up! i am ridiculous. 🙂 at least all of my makeovers are done on the cheap 🙂
We love Kristen! We think she is amazingly talented and never afraid to go bold and switch it up! Her curse has been lifted!
I always want to change something. My husband does NOT get it and just wants things to stay the same for a week or two. I just can’t help myself.
Oh I am definitely a bit this way inclined! There is always some new pattern or colour to incorporate…These rooms are all fab 🙂

I say all the time I wish I could redecorate weekly! There are so many different “styles” that I love. My hubby is good about understanding my curse, but we just don’t have the budget for the constant changes.
I totally have this curse. I can’t do anything about it because I am not a decorator ( equals has no vision) and am afraid of making mistakes. Our budget can’t afford for me to do that!!
YES! What I love is that color changes everything. I am in love with her living room (2nd time around) I love the contrast of her wall and couch, ugh! to die for!!
Wow!!! Her spaces and changes are amazing! Yes I do have the curse…always want to change things up. I just don’t have the time or money to do it! All my extra time and money goes to my three girls!!! Ha!
Yes, I have it. But all must be done with little cash! Hubby thinks I am crazy, I keep changing things!
Whoa! Love all of those rooms! The new living room looks is fabulous! Love the art over the sofa.
Definitely suffer from the curse….glad there are others who feel my pain/joy! 😉 Oh and BRAVO Kristen!!
wow! Fabulous!
Yes, I have it and until I started blogging I didn’t know I had company out there. I love change ups. I think we’re all exposed to so many wonderful design ideas that we always find something we like better even though what we have is perfectly fine. So glad to find those who think like me. You have validated my curse.

Those rooms a gorgeous. I suffer from a worse version of this curse which is wanting to re-decorate before you even finish the room.
im also getting that itch to change up my bedroom..her work always keeps up with the trend, too cute!!! :))))))
Absolutely! Every time I decorate a room I learn a little bit more about the process and my own taste. As soon as it’s finished I know I could do better next time (so I start again…)
UGH Yep I have the curse! It usually starts at one end of the house and is a never ending circle 😉

“I am ridiculous” … that cracked me up! So pleased Kristen can have a laugh at herself. Lots of us have that decorating curse 🙂

all of those are beautiful designs! and very different! I wonder how she gets rid of the old stuff! I change stuff all the time starting from one room and doing it all around and around! but just change decoration items (not really furniture)
I think Kristen is amazingly talented! I try not to miss any of her posts… so much goodness!
I am making my husband read this post because he can’t stand how I am constantly painting and redecorating every room in the house. Love it.
