Last week I finally got my closet organized (thanks mom!).
Now that everything is neat and clean, it is time to glam it up!
This $118.00 closet makeover has me thinking.
Meredith, from Welcome to Heardmont, was the mastermind behind this DIY.
I love how she only painted the stripes above the shelf.
It adds some spunk but still keeps it simple.
Although we would all like custom built-in closets, that is not always realistic.
A new light, paint or wallpaper, and a couple of accessories can do the trick.
I love her jewelry center, functional but pretty.
and it never hurts to add a couple accessories to the space.
I think this little owl is perfect.
This is definitely a closet makeover that everyone can do.
You can check out the rest of the makeover here.
Now I just need to find some motivation and do mine!
meredith already knows how i feel about her closet- i am in love with it!
I just recently finished my own closet, but this one is making me want to do it all over again! Turned out great, and I’m sure yours will too!
Love this closet!!
Thanks for the feature Danielle and good luck with your closet redo! I bet it’ll be fabulous. 🙂
I love how this is just your “standard” closet but it looks so chic. I love the stripes above the shelves…really gives the ceiling some height.
And it seems like a little thing, but I think all matching hangers really makes things look put together.

Seriously… how can a closet be so gorgeous! 🙂
I love it. I am inspired by the stripes. Ours is organized, but I could use a little more funk in it.
This closet looks like it was made for me – gray and white, with yellow accents. Stripes. Clothes hung by color and a white ceramic owl… I am in heaven 🙂
Motivation is exactly what I need too! I love what she did to her closet space. The stripes make the closet feel so much roomier. Great idea!
Wow. Your images rival that of the catalogs of most closet organizer companies! Bravo on doing a closet makeover for such a “thrifty” price!
