Umm…fantastic advice, don’t you think?
I hoped you all learned a thing or two from this series.
I sure did!
Thanks again ladies.
This has been a great series Danielle! I loved hearing what each of your contributors had to say.
This is such a great series! I really love Kate’s advice. I think it’s so much easier to pick a paint color last.
Don’t pick dark hardwood when you have kids and a dog, because…? What will happen to it?
Kate’s advice makes perfect sense.
Thanks for having me Danielle- this was a great little series and I love what everyone contributed!!! Hope you’re having a fabulous holiday! xo
Great tips! I really enjoyed this series Danielle! I agree with all those tips.. my sister is cursing her dark floors with her new golden retriever. And I swear by down inserts.. they may all the difference!
I’m LOVING this series! I feel bad that I JUST read all of them so far, but the tips are wonderful and totally usable! Thanks for hosting this!
Great advice!! Loved every tip.
Excellent advice. Was just chatting tonight with a friend about picking fabrics before paint. Great advice about the dark floors as well.
All have given great advice here, I wish that dark floors + golden retrievers = happiness.

Great tips…bookmark worthy!
Oh, I sure wish I had heard the tip about the dark floors. Ours show every single speck of dust, and never, ever look clean. Especially in a bright room with lots of sun – the light seems to highlight each dust mote.
thanks for hosting! looks like you had fun on your trip!
