My client has been working hard at getting her baby’s room finished.
I am so excited about the results.
She had almost everything to complete the space, she just needed help with the finishing touches.
The furniture lay-out was the first thing to change.
The room needed a focal point, what better than the crib?
We centered the crib on the back wall, moved the chair to across the room, and placed the dresser on the opposite wall.
The next change, and most dramatic, was a fresh coat of paint!
The room was too warm. Adding a cool tone to the walls made the furniture, drapery, and accessories pop.
This room was begging for a cool tone don’t you think?
We also added white vinyl trees that were purchased on ETSY for $50.00.
She already had the picture frames, all they needed was a fresh coat of white paint.
The small square side table was taken from another room and painted white.
The lamp was also brought from another room and my client sewed the pillow with some leftover scraps she had.
The gallery wall was created with frames she already had.
We framed some of her scraps leftover from the roman shades and the pillow.
The birdhouses were purchased and given a fresh coat of paint.
My client also made this mobile.
I just love it.
I am so pleased with the results especially since it only cost $100.00 and a little elbow grease.
We are also almost done her little girls room.
I can’t wait to share 🙂

Beautiful nursery. That mobile is adorable!
I love when I see an awesome room and it was done on a budget! It’s possible people!:) The color is perfect and the tree is so simple and sweet! Where is mobile from?
Adorable! I love how everything just harmonizes – so fresh and airy! The roman shades are to DIE for – can you share where she found them?
Great job, Danielle! I love the gallery wall and white vinyl branches! The cool paint color was a great idea. And her brach mobile is so sweet!
It looks great! I love how small touches can make such a huge impact!!
Beautiful job, Danielle! I am with you on the cool tone–that warm wood furniture needed some contrast. The furniture looks much richer with your wall color.

And all for a $100! Beautiful job. Love the wall color and the shades.
Looks AMAZING! Seriously. Great vision.
Isn’t it amazing what rearranging and a coat of paint can make? It really looks awesome–well done!
So pretty. I love the fabric you used on the window treatments. It’s one of my favorites!
What a perfect room!!! it’s adorable and so clean. I love the mobile…and the birdhouses in the gallery wall!
Lovely job Danielle- love the trees and the mobile!!
Great job Danielle. Amazing how a coat of paint and re-arranging furniture can give that room the oomph it needs!
Great job, Danielle! You absolutely got that right with the color- the cool tones are perfect for the space. Beautiful room!
Beautiful job! The gray walls really help cool down the warm furniture. I love the mobile.
That is a really beautiful nursery. Great finishing touches. Love it!
ahhhh, it’s so calming….like a baby could TOTALLY sleep 12 hours easily IN A ROW!!! =)
That bird mobile has my heart pitter pattering…LOVE!
Am I allowed to comment? Thanks for the comments on my baby’s room. Danielle was so great and my favorite idea from her was the bird houses on the gallery wall.
I bought the fabric for the roman shades at Calico Corners and made them myself. The mobile is made out of super stiff felt, yarn, and twigs from my yard.
Doesn’t it go to show that a few inexpensive, but well thought out items can change a room and inject so much more warmth. Also being a nursery I like it being kept simple, as you will want to change it for a child, and they grow up so fast. The cliche’s are true.
Fab transformation!! Looks like it cost a lot more than $100!
So sweet and simple! And so cheap! Great job.
What a great transformation . . . and for $100!
I adore this wall treatment! Everything looks so fresh and clean now!
