my model is starting to get a little less accommodating.
she is not interested in posing for pictures these days.
she also developed an opinion for what she wears (nooo!)
this was the only shot (photo booth at it’s finest) that I was able to get of her yesterday.
sunglasses, leopard cardigan, smock dress, tutu, leggings, boots, and a flower headband in her hair.
an eclectic mix, at least she is creative?
is this the end of what’s emory wearing wednesday?
hopefully not, just less often.
how about once a month?
i have good news.
i am guest posting at things that sparkle today!
i am sharing 5 of my favorites items from my home.
make sure you head on over and check it out!
speaking of things that sparkle, did you see alex’s valentines day table?
love it.
see you over there!
emory looks adorable. i think we all still love to see the cute looks “her way” or “your way”. 🙂
She is too cute! I LOVED your post over at Things that Sparkle… you have a great style and it was nice to see more of your home:)
I went and checked out your post and I love your home even more!! Is that even possible??
P.S. Even though Emory is not being that accommodating, that outfit is adorable!
Loved your guest post. Also Emory has great style! My little Ainsley wears a tutu everyday, could be worse I guess!!
She looks fabulous. But I’ll be sad when Lilly no longer let’s me dress her. And yay, heading over!
Ha, that is totally what we all expect her to do…grow and have her own opinions! Nothing more encouraging for a parent! And I may add she’s rockin’ her outfit…totally hip! And please keep this post going, I’ll be so sad if you stop. Let her be creative, pick the spot to photograph in, pick the outfit…everything! Give her a voice, isn’t that what we all wanted as children? Just a thought!
Agree Emory does have fab style! Fashionista! xo
the time has come!!! just give in to it, take pictures and show them to her in 10 years. my girl is ‘eclectic’ as well! 😉
Hi Danielle: I’m fairly new to your blog and am really enjoying it.
I wanted to say how touched I was at your story in the “things about myself” follow up to the Stylish Blogger Award. What a time with little Emory. It’s an amazing story you have there, and she is just so cute and feisty, you would never know her early beginning. You and your husband have been through a lot!
We have one daughter…many years older!…she’s 26 now, and it’s so truly wonderful to have a daughter. But, I will warn you, mine too came to an age where she would NOT let me dress her, and she had VERY definite opinions as to what she would wear! No dresses, for starters. It’s tough, but you have to pick your battles, as they say!
Good luck, and I will continue to follow and enjoy your posts!
Okay, I am loving Emory’s look!! Too cute!
Thanks so much for your post today! And your sweet words about my valentine’s day party! You are invited anytime. xo
I love these pom poms. I used them for my Valentine’s Day table as well and just posted a tutorial on how to make them. They are my new favourite party decorations! Easy and inexpensive!
Love your blog!
