my sister recently purchased this bench for $5.00 from her local salvage yard.
i think it looks perfect at the end of her bed.
She is considering upholstering it but i love it as is.
what do you think?
she also purchased this dresser from her local classifieds.
a little paint and new hardware and it looks amazing.
the frames above the dresser came from the salvage yard as well!
i love the way her bedroom is turning out.

I would leave it as is. It’s the perfect amount of rustic in that beautiful room.

Oh man those are great finds! Please tell me they are all from the Okotoks salvage yard! I haven’t had a chance to get there because the weather here has been so crappy but I am hoping for this weekend!

That is one awesome treasure of a salvage yard! I love the bench exactly as it is – it would be a travesty to paint it.

I don’t think this is a good piece to upholster. I’d probably paint or refinish it though.
