superstore love

a trip to canada is not complete without going to superstore.
superstore is a large grocery store but also sells affordable clothing, home decor, & other products.
you should see the clothing, amazing.
we stopped in today to check out the home decor section.

i was not disappointed.
i immediately fell in love with these herringbone towels.
they come in a variety of different colors.
i love them all.
i wouldn’t mind this lattice duvet cover.
paired with a set of crisp white sheets, perfect.
they also had a great selection of shower curtains.
i think this would be adorable in a child’s bathroom.
the area rugs was my favorite find of the day.
5′-0″ x 7′-0″ for $19.99
i love all the patterns.
wouldn’t they be amazing under a kitchen table?

who doesn’t love a well designed mug?
i wish i could fit it all in my suitcase.
i bet i could squeeze in a towel or two.

Grr! Our Superstores in PEI don’t have a home section anymore! They took them out to make room for the clothes! I love clothes but you just btought a tear to my eye:)

Bugger.. I was just there last night.. didn’t look in the home wares at all 😉 Squeeze in a couple towels, you’ll think of Calgary every time you see them! What area of the city are you in? ( NW/ NE/ SW/ SE ) I’m way down in the SE… have a good day today! xo

I found your blog today and HAD to comment. I’m a Canadian transplant in the U.S (from Regina, SK and living in Minneapolis, MN), and terribly miss the likes of that wonderful Superstore! There’s just nothing like it for great and stylish deals. Also, do you get to Winners/HomeSense when you’re up in Canada? That is one of my absolute favorite places to stock up when I’m home. Thanks for this post, and for reminding me to hit up Superstore when I’m back home next week. Have a great time in Calgary!

    Just found your blog! I was a Canadian living in the US for 3 years {Washington DC suburbs of Virginia} and I MISSED Superstore. Now living back in Canada, I love to browse through their home goods section {which is why my husband always balks at my grocery bill – what do you mean honey, a chevron patterned towel is an essential grocery item?}

Have fun visiting the Great White North!
