i made my living room drapery and pelmet box about 6 months ago.
total cost of the project: $58.00
pelmet box $22.00
drapery: $ 36.00
i love it but i am ready for a change!
when i first saw this zig-zag print on fabric.com i couldn’t help but fall in love.
(it is actually on sale right now for $5.58!)
it seems like the perfect fit for my new living room drapery.
it arrived yesterday and i can’t wait to get sewing.
does anyone else feel the need to change up their space often?
It’s comforting to know I’m not the only one! I switch things out constantly – especially cushions – I’ve got shelves in my closets packed with cushions and every time I introduce a new one, my guy just gives me a big roll of the eyes! I figure there could be worse things I’m spending money on, right? 🙂

Right before I looked at your blog I had JUST finished ordering fabric from fabric.com including that exact one you chose for your drapes! I felt validated with my choice since you had chosen it as well. I can’t wait to see how they look as curtains, I’ll be using it for pillows.

Yes… I change my spaces too much. My husband is not a fan of it. He says its because I read too many design blogs, which may be true. But I love reading yours because everything you do is on a budget, yet looks like a million bucks. Keep up the creative work!
