a sneak peek…

i have been collecting things for emory’s bedroom for months.
after countless trips to thrift stores, yard sales, and online fabric stores i think i almost got everything.
now let the projects begin…
the fabric for her headboard arrived last week.
i love it and can’t wait to see the finished headboard.
i found this child’s size wicker chair on ksl for $15.00
i seem to have a soft spot for child size furniture.
it might be getting a coat of spray paint, we will see.

i scored this antique trunk for $15.00.
other than needing a little tlc, it is the perfect toy box.

nothing better than finding the perfect throw, thanks ikea!

this stack of plates will soon be transformed into animal wall art.
$7.00 for 9 plates, not-to-shabby.

i can’t wait for emory’s room (and the toy room, play room, guest room) to be finished.
don’t forget to check back for updates!

CUTE! Love the headboard fabric. I think you should spray the chair. You’re the color queen, you have to. I’m curious what you are going to do with the plates. Can’t wait to see it.

ah! i’m using that same fabric to recover some chairs! love it! the colors are so great! i’ve been working on them for like 3 months now, pathetic, i know. maybe we could race – you on the headboard, me on the chairs! i’m sure you’d win. can’t wait to see the finished product!
